D-Link Wireless Router

Dec 17, 2004 10:15AM PST

I am having a very annoying problem with my D-Link DI-624 wireless router. The computer with a wireless card uses D-Link's connection tool and says it can view my computer with the router. However, it can not connect and will not let me access my workgroup. Anybody have any helping ideas?

Well first thing you need to check is the work names on both puters. It also helps to know what you are trying to do. can this puter in question say get on the internet through the router??? If so then you probably have to allow sharing on one or both puters.

Are you using one? If so, you need to give permission for the connection to work. Firewalls block access including wireless networks.
