You just go to the router's 192.168.xxx.xxx address and sign in to it as the administrator per your user guide. From there you can disable wireless operation. If you've lost your user guide, you can download one from D-Link's web site.
Good luck.
I bought this router about 2 months ago so I could have my computer and game system hooked up at all times. I chose it because it was cheap and I was specifically looking for something wired (this particular router can be wired or wireless). Before then, my connection-speed was pretty fast (Shaw high-speed connection).
Ever since it installed itself on my system it's been stuck on wireless by default and my connection-speed has slowed considerably since buying it (I've been dropped from matches while gaming due to poor connection-speed). I've tried to unhook it and use an older, wired router and I even tried to go back to connecting to the modem directly, but I found the computer refused to access the internet without the device.
I'm not exactly the most tech-savvy person in the world, so any help would be appreciated. What I'm looking to do is:
1. Force the router to be wired.
2. Improve connection-speed overall.
