Move it closer. Try half the distance.
In closing, this is a hit or miss solution. I continue to have better luck with powerline extenders with WiFi options. Here's #2 currently on Amazon.

Hello
I have a Belkin router and just bought a D-link wifi extender so that I get signal in my bedroom which is quite far from the router. The extender seemed to work for a while but then I noticed that I couldn't get on wifi at all. Looking in the router logs I could see that the D-link was constantly requesting the next available IP address. I tried it a few times and it does that until there are no IPs left in the DHCP pool.
Anyone know what might be causing this?
Thanks
Amy
