Cybersecurity Survey

Mar 30, 2017 2:34PM PDT

Hello, I am conducting a cybersecurity survey for a research paper I am writing for one of my undergraduate classes. Please respond to the following questions below. You can be specific in your responses if you would like to. All data will be anonymous! Thanks for the help!

1. Do you subscribe to a VPN service or anti-virus system to help secure your computer(s) and network(s)?

2. How many accounts are you associated with that required you to input all your personal information such as your name, address, and credit information?

3. Do you trust the companies (like car/health insurance, education, and subscriptions) with the responsibility of keeping all your important information private and safe?

And Since You've Posted The Survey Elsewhere On The Net

You should still get the information you need.

Re: subscription

To get better answers, you should make clear if you consider using a free antivirus (Avast, AVG, Avira) a "subscription to an anti-virus system" or not. And if (only) using Windows Defender (which is built in into Windows 10) counts as such. Then every Windows 10 user (even R.Proffitt) must answer "yes" and that makes your question meaningless.

Of course, the question with the "or" is rather meaningless now already. If I answer 'yes' to "Do you like chocolate or steaks", you don't know if I like only chocolate, only stakes or both. Better split it into 2, although even then the question is totally unrelated to question 2 and 3.
Not a good survey, it seems to me.
