Cyberlink PowerDirector 5.0 - Language Help

Feb 8, 2006 2:40PM PST

hello, i just got powerdirector 5.0
i would like to install it in Traditional Chinese.

I installed it on my laptop and everything went fine (Toshiba Pentium4 MCE laptop)

but when I try to install it onto my desktop (dual core athlon, XP PRO) in Traditional Chinese, a lot (but not all) of the characters come out as question marks.

It is very weird, because the language settings on my notebook and my desktop are identical. All my other programs in Chinese (such as Ulead Videostudio) work fine.

Does anyone know a solution for this?
Thank you for any help.
