Cute Bubble Gum Story

Shows how it's made and some history of it.

When I clicked on it I thought it would be about Super Bubble which is what I remembered from my youth, but is something that came along later. Seems in my area it is still sold, but only in Family Dollar stores.

I remember Bazooka too, with it's gum wrapped in small cartoons. At the time it was penny gum and the Super Bubble was 2 cents. Now it's 25 cents each?! That seems as expensive as cigarette singles.

....more likely years ago! Every playground pavement was covered in it, or you dodged all the pink spots on the hot sun baked pavements outside your local convenience store. I rememvber also one 7-11 had a star spangled parking lot. It was covered in pull tabs off the old soda cans, which had been tossed out the car window and the hot Florida sun would soften the asphalt and they'd get rolled over and pressed into it. When the sun would hit just right, it was "a thousand points of light". Wink
