Question

Customer Service Software, Helpdesk, Ticketing?

Hello all,

I've been looking around for a good helpdesk, or more specifically, a customer service software that is cloud based and has a community with a knowledge base. Lastly it has to be ready to implement out of the box.

Here are my requirements
1. Free
2. Hosted
3. Helpdesk
4. Knowledge base
5. Community
6. A type of a feedback widget, like a support tab that's easy to find.

I know UserVoice, Zendesk and GetSatisfaction offer something like that - of course the latter lacking the help desk component.

So far in my search I've only ran across the Helprace help desk app - it seems solid and promising.

Are there any more examples out there, perhaps with social media integration?

Helpsumo customer support software, while it isn't free is well worth it, and much better than the other options that you have listed.

Practical Help Desk Software

<a href="https://www.happyfox.com>Happyfox</a> is an affordable help-desk software hosted on the cloud. Happyfox has a facebook integration and can respond to customer request in fb directly from the help desk itself. There is a support tab which provides faq based on the question typed and link to discussions and knowledge base.

Well you not going to get a good product

if it's free. How do you expect the company to pay the programmers if they give their software away. Now maybe if you advertisments all over you page you might find a small system designed for smaller companies. Usually enterprise software like that is 6 figures with yearly support changes.
