You're causing cavalvation(sp) int. wind reduction or turbulence which reduces overall effect. The 2-fans would work better if placed side-by-side mounting. If you have the original mounting setup, note the model# and find what its specs are. I gather it would be 1/2 CFMx2 for both fans. By heck, if it working for you, go for it.

Useful for placing on top of anything with a flat vent needing an excessive exhaust boost.
To make this, I had extra scrap parts from various desktop/laptop builds, and found a Gearhead laptop cooler without a charger. Gutted it and obtained two fantastic fans.

The only reason for leaving the circuit board on the battery tester is to hold down the wires, it has no functionality. It doesn't matter which color wires go because the fans only operating in one setup (+/-). There's really only two ways to wire this.
Additionally, this sounds like an indy car and sucks all the hot air out of nearly anything. Very curious to what this things CFM is..
