Cursorcowboy re-re visit Win Error Reporting.

Mar 7, 2004 11:54AM PST

Have sorted problem, no more error reports every time I change site or program.
The "Registry|EasyCleaner 2.0.6.369" was a very useful tool although it did not point to the actual errors it pointed the way I would have to go in the registry.
Could not "Find" the CLSID's that I had identified, so it was a manual job trolling through hundreds of the
folders CLSID's until I identified two corresponding with E7298FD5-1386-11D5-8D6C-0050DAD32D95. Checked and double checked before deleting. The offending items were from parts of Win Money that had not uninstalled correctly. Thanks Bill much obliged. Found similar program to EasyCleaner on www.iomatic.com called Registry Medic it is well worth a trial also.

No apology needed, I discovered a wealth of info about XP & HP operating systems, more then I can remember in one fell swoop. (did take notes though)
Great learning curve, Thanks again.
