Sep 14, 2018 9:39PM PDT

My computer is Windows 10. Since I downloaded Wireshark and installed it, it needed to reboot so I rebooted it. Then I the computer startup process became faster than before and my cursor went missing. I can't do anything including pressing the windows key or anything, the computer was freezed whenever I reboot the computer. The shutdown process was faster than before. Please help I need solutions please!

Try Starting In Safe Mode...
Sep 17, 2018 8:42AM PDT

If the computer starts and runs fine in Safe Mode, then it's probably an issue with Wireshark or it's dependency on drivers. I'd uninstall Wireshark, if you can, from Safe Mode, or at least prevent it from starting when Windows loads.

Also be sure to unplug any USB devices, and that includes USB keyboards and mice. Instead, use a PS2 keyboard and mouse to get things working again.

And don't use BIOS default settings if you installed Windows 10 in AHCI mode. The boot will probably not work.

Hope this helps.

If so, unplug the receiver, boot up, plug back in.
