Cursor Appears in Address Bar in New Tab

Hi,

When I open a new tab, the cursor jumps from the Google bar to the address bar. I've searched this site and done a Google search but can't find any solution.

I'm running Windows 7 through IE 10.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

But it was one or two things such as some add in that was defective to the home page was set to blank or hijacked.

Sorry but that's 3 things to investigate.
