... do the Capitol police not have videocameras mounted in their units like so many other police do?

Too late for blood test. Just a huge coverup

I think that at this point ...

... at least some reforms on the actions of the Capitol Police can be accomplished. I've heard about some suspensions and/or a reassignment, but nothing about anyone permanently losing their job over this.

Considering the extra National Security issues surrounding "guarding the Capitol" it would seem that if ever a cop car should have a video surveillance unit installed and operating at all times, it would be the CP. So IF there exists such a video, it would be evidence of further coverup.

As to Mr. Kennedy, there may not be much that can be done legally at this point, but since he does get a vote in a body that effects us all, he should be pressured to resign. He initially denied the 2000 altercation in the airport until that video surfaced, but it didn't get much press play. If a video of this latest fiasco exists, I would hope that finally the voters would see what an embarrassment they have representing them in Congress.

Even if there were video,

it would show him "drunk" on legal perscriptions and again, so what, too late.
