Hi. I'm running Windows 7 on HP Laptop. Every time I start the computer it seems that the CTRL key is pressed. If I click (single click) on the icons on my desktop it behaves like I'm selecting files with the CTRL key pressed (it adds to the first selection)
If I enter Internet Explorer and type F it brings up the Find bar and if I press W it closes the window.
I have tried to change the settings of Sticky Keys and disable everything, but that did not solved the problem.
I've tried disconnecting every USB peripherals like mouse and thumb drives but that did not helped as well.
Also I discover that if I press CTRL+ALT+DEL (and then I cancel the screen that appears) everything goes back to normal. I can type letters, CTRL behaves like it should and it's like there was never a problem.
But, when a reboot the laptop it starts all over again.
I'm pretty sure that's not a virus or a hardware problem... I've tried scanning the laptop and found nothing. And there is no keys that are physically pressed or damaged
Now I have no idea... what can I do??
I've looked online and found a lot of people with the same issue but so far no real solutions.
Any help would be much appreciated!
