Crystal Surround Air Track Issue

Just purchased new Samsung TV and Crystal Surround Air Track Bar. No problem getting TV hooked up and fully expected to just connect the HDM1 cable from TV to the Bar, but it does not work. Tried using the old fashioned cables (red & white), but still nothing. Can someone help me understand this thing. The instructions are very cryptic.

I also cannot get this to work. I have mine hooked up to lg smart tv
Direct cable no other components work. Switched to external speakers - still no sound through the sound bar. What am I missing?

It appears you sorted it by taking off the rubber protective covers on the cable.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
