Is this "just a joke" too?

"Crow requires 12 bottles of Grolsch beer, 6 bottles of 'local' beer, and a bottle each of 'good Australian Cabernet' and 'good Merlot.' As for the harder stuff, promoters are directed to purchase specific booze depending on what day of the week the concert falls, as the below rider excerpt reveals. Additionally, when the global warming warrior hits the road, her touring entourage (and equipment) travels in three tractor trailers, four buses, and six cars. Now that's a carbon footprint!"

Crow claims her vehicles are all powered by Biodiesel, which actually leaves no carbon footprint. We have no idea how many rolls of toilet paper are required for her dressing room.

Those vehicles are not using any lubricants? I am all for biodiesel, but it is incorrect to claim that it produces no harmful emissions. Bio actually produces higher level sof CO2 than conventional diesel.

Gee, do you think it's possible thaht she is a hypocrite who actually has no clue about the environment? I don't think her music is near good enough to justify her ravaging the Earth to the extent she does.

And check this:

Alas, the damage to Crow and her image has been done. As I took my beloved house pet to the Vet?s this morning, I heard the drive-time DJ?s on three different stations making fun of her. She is now officially a national punch line. The problem with her purported joke was that it was all too believable that an entertainment community member would preach such rubbish. Even if the word gets out that Crow was just jesting, the damage to her brand is irrevocable.

There?s even the chance that the taint will spread to the entire universe of entertaining do-gooders. The next time a Tim Robbins and Sean Penn scream at a rally for Donald Rumsfeld to be prosecuted as a war criminal, their audience won?t know if the actors are playing some sort of gag and will ultimately burble, ?Hah! Had you going there, didn?t we?? In short, the entertainment community will no longer enjoy the credibility it once had as a home for sophisticated and mature analysis of global affairs. (Personal not to Sheryl Crow ? See? That?s satire.)

The entire global warming argument is just a joke.

The perpetrators are simply seeing how far it can go before people start catching on.

That's a possibility.

You believe earth is flat too?

There are experts claiming it...

What are you saying...

"Believe the experts?"

or

"Don't believe the experts?"

It's not at all clear that having healthy skepticism about global warming equates to believing the Earth is flat. Sure sounds like a "zinger" to me.
