Question

Crowd funding effectiveness

Jun 5, 2015 6:06AM PDT

I recently created a new app to assist small business and began a crowd funding campaign through Indiegogo. The campaign had some initial donations from friends and family but other than that the only action I got was from crowd funding promoters that offered their services for a small fee.

I employed their services to promote my campaign within their networks, send out press releases etc, but the results have been very disappointing.

Can anyone suggest a crowd funding promoter within North America that has a proven track record? Thanks.

There are now a lot of issues about app revenue. It's pretty sad at times but you must, as the lead wear all the hats.

If you have a great app, they will come. If you are making promises and have no track record, you usually get shunned, even with a promoter.
