"Hogan, this isn't a game!"
"It is to me."
I hear he's getting advice from a fellow action-adventure star- Wesley Snipes.
BTW I thought the movies were good,
especially the first, and he did amazing things for Aussie tourism. But his personal life has been a negative example for decades.
You bunch of Nancies, do your worse - I'm a moviestar
To be honest, I haven't heard of him since his "Dundee"
.... movies, and some TV commercials.
I reckon he had residual rights for VHS>CD>DVD>TV for his movies.
The article didn't say how much he owes in taxes, but he might want to figure if it is less than what his legal costs are to fight it.
He was best known down under as a talk show host
and Tourist Board favorite. That got him the money and clout to make Dundee I. Dumped his wife for his co-star; made Dundee II. Moved on to heavy drinking and being an Aussie National Treasure. Living off the residuals and reputation, as you suggest.
