Question

Crm and project management solution under windows

Oct 26, 2014 10:48AM PDT

Hey There!

You guy's at CNet have been helpfull in the past helping me decide what was the best PC solution. I now got a new issue : Cannot find the right enterprise management solution.

What I do : I am a Strategy Execution Advisor. Basically I do consulting for corporation in order to fix and acheive goals, and restructure businesses to get them more lucrative and less costly.

What I need : I switched from Apple to a ThinkPad (windows) in order to gain security on my work. Many of my client where questionning the fact that I was working with a mac. So on apple I was using MarketCircle Daylite : CRM and Project management. That was GREAT! Everything under the same hood!

I am now using Sage ACT! Pro 2012 for CRM and Microsoft Access for my project management, but honestly guy's... this does not work.

So I am looking for a all in one solutions to help me manage my business, tasks, projects, and relationships + opportunities.

How do I work: I am on a Lenovo X240. I do long day's. Oftenly on the road. Galaxy S4. Sometimes no internet connection (airplane, transit, etc.)

NO! My website does not need to be connected to the software.

Thank's alot for your answers in advance! I truely appreciate it!

Daylite is a tough act to follow. What you noted is truly a step back a decade to another epoch in computing history.

OK, that's out of the way. I can't offer any exact title to look at since I haven't seen anything close to Daylite in the Windows world. I could explain why but let's skip that and get you what I look at when I begin such as search (it's not Google.)

Look at http://alternativeto.net/software/daylite/

I know that's a long list there but you can take a quick look to see what comes close then have a short list to look at later.

Good hunting, Bob.

What alternatives do you offer?

Why I ask is that you made 2 posts, both about ICS. If you work there you must reveal such. Otherwise tell about competitors.
