Creative Zen Vision:M - Software and Settings

Oct 22, 2007 3:05AM PDT

Hi

I have a Vision:M and I am taking it travelling for a year.
At times, I won't be able to charge it, so I need the battery to last as long as possible. I have been told that the battery life can depend on how the player settings are set.

Can anyone suggest an optimal set of settings I can use to extend the life of my player?

Can you get a battery extention pack for the Vision:M? how much are they? is this worth considering?

I am aware that somtimes after a product is released, new software updates are available for that product to fix bugs. I still have the original software installed on the player.

Does anyone have other software installed? Is there a standard piece of updated software now that everyone uses for their player or should I stick with what I have?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Tencher
