How can I master the ability to learn to use my Zen vision M? I am having a hard time. Just getting to use the fm radio is a chore to me? Any ideas?

I put every option that I would want to possibly go to immediately on the main menu. From there it is a simple scroll and tap.
My problem is I am having a problem learning how to navigate the player. It took me hours just to update the date and time. I set the tapping speed but it still jumps all over. I am looking for some guide on how to manuever the player. When I get to where I can set the main menu this would certainly help me.
