Creative Zen & SD cards problems

by andreabak / March 22, 2008 9:14 PM PDT

Hi guys. I bought a Zen 8gb 3 months ago to replace my old Zen Nano.

I'm really happy of my choice and I've never had problems with it since now.

Considered that buying a Zen 8gb with a SD card 8gb I saved > 50

Buggy Zen

It sounds to me like the Zen you got may have some sort of bug. The best bet is to try and exchange it at the store, or under warranty through Creative directly.

Firmware Update

So you think it is related to the hardware and not the firmware? Because I constantly updated it and never had problem. (Maybe the SD card controller chip?)
I'll try contacting Creative to see what they say.
And I forgot to say in the previous post, every time I turned off the Zen while I was browsing the SD or simply in the SD section, the next time I turn it on the date and hour was always resetted. :S

(yep... might be the Zen Sad )

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
