Creative Zen Micro 5 GB

by gramx4 / November 22, 2005 12:53 AM PST

Anyone know how to tell if the Zen Micros being sold in stores or online are the newer model with the headphone jack redesigned? I don't want to get stuck with one of the older ones that have a problem with the jack connection breaking easily.

I know I can contact Creative with a serial number, but I'd have to buy it first, then ask.....not something I want to do.

Appreciate your help.

This was already asked around in the forum.
The answer I got was that the newer models don?t come with an ac adaptor.

I was also considering a micro, but after all the problems they could have (and considering the fact that in my country i don?t have a creative tech service) i dropped the idea.

OK, thanks. I'm having a problem finding a good mp3 player that will do bookmarking on audiobooks, as well as play music, etc. Appreciate your input.
