Creating recovery discs

Jan 30, 2010 3:59AM PST

I have a Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX laptop using Windows 7.
How do I create a set of recovery discs and it is necessary to use a disk partition. Thank you

Creating recovery disks is NOT a function of Windows 7. It's something added by Compaq, so this is more or less the wrong forum for your question. What does your Compaq manual say about it?

And, yes, a disk should have at least one partition to be able to be used. The time that we wrote our own storage software and learned about cylinder indexes and track indexes and how to handle overflow in them is long gone.
Maybe your real question is different from the question you asked?
