Question

Creating clickable photos to post to craigslist

Jul 26, 2016 12:17PM PDT

I am going nuts and could use help. I am trying the post the following ad code to craigslist. The photo link url, was generated by photo bucket, which I then amended to include my page url. I keep getting a error message from craigslist. Here is the code:

<a href="<a href="http://s1149.photobucket.com/user/Bob_Reeves/media/7442514592_5fe51e7c0d_z_zpsf1l1fdua.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1149.photobucket.com/albums/o594/Bob_Reeves/7442514592_5fe51e7c0d_z_zpsf1l1fdua.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 7442514592_5fe51e7c0d_z_zpsf1l1fdua.jpg"/></a>" target="_self"><img src="http://tiny.cc/v2e2cy " border="0" /></a>

So stop being fancy and just post the photo and then an in the clear link.

Insert the picture.

Then type in the link. Don't get fancy as you did with all that HTML code.

Take the easy exit.

And we have no idea what the error message is, nor what craigslist support says about it.

Answer
just post url

open your photobucket photo, copy the url from the address bar then paste it in the craiglist ad where it asks for the url. simple as that.

URL

I tried that all. No luck in Craigslist.

then try pasting it in ad

then just paste it as part of the ad. come to think of it, the last time I posted on craigslist, I read something about not being able to post outside links anymore. You may have to upload the picture to their server.
