Is the repeater located halfway between the router and the target location? I find repeaters to not always work but sometimes it's just the owner placed it in the wrong spot.
I like this other solution:
I defer to the maker on how it works but that sidesteps all the usual extender issues.
I have recently had wifi installed (fibre optic) in my house. However, my wifi does not reach the third floor.
I have already bought a booster that has been said that it has a repeater in it too. The wifi still barely reaches the third floor.
So i tried bringing the router from the living room to upstairs to the third floor and connecting it with the LAN port available. I was able to connect to the wifi and it says that I am connected but there's no internet. I was not able to browse or use the internet at all.
Is there a way to make my wifi work on the third floor?
