Creating a promo code for your album selling on iTunes

Hi, maybe this isn't possible unless you have special privileges, but I would really like to know if I could do this.

I'm a music artist selling my music on iTunes and other digital retailers. For an upcoming release I was hoping to allow a limited number of people to buy the album at a discount using a promo code, which I've done before to buy other albums on iTunes.

I'm sure this has to be done officially through Apple, but if anyone knows what steps I could take to do this, I would greatly appreciate it.

So unfortunately, I think this only pertains to Apps and developers. Confusing, because it's on the iTunes website. I'll look into it though, maybe it pertains to music as well.

Hello there,
I was today brought up with the same issue, in which I would like to create a promotional link to download the album for free. The link would be limited to a specific timeframe (let's say 24h) and have maybe 3 available downloads for one link - then it would expire. I was also considering even on having 2 versions for a clean and explicit albums?

Let me know how successful you were with your search and who I should contact to start looking towards this!
