Linux is pretty much Linux, no matter what distribution you use. One isn't really any more or less suited to being a web server, so just pick whichever one you're most familiar with, and have at it.
I'm planning on installing a free distribution of linux onto an old computer, and was thinking to myself... Which distro of linux would be best suited for my needs. Sure red hat has a great reputation but then again I've never used it! And suse linux is what i'm used to but my friend is telling me to go with fedora, so I stand a little confused.
In other words; which distribution do you think I should use for my server? Any responses would help, thanks.
