Hello, I'm not quite sure what the name of what is forum or what.
What I want to do is create a section in my website so that my family and friends can leave comments in it, like the comments you see below youtube.com's videos.
I really dont think is is called forum.
My website is at
(link removed) of course is a non-profit site and I just created it in order to allow my family to view: pictures, videos and news of me and my life here. By the way I'm an international student from Uruguay, here in Santa Rosa, California.

I dont think my isp provides a tool for this.

Thanks a lot for your help, Marcelo."

Be sure to check our forum policies.

Site promotion even when you claim it to be non-profit is never allowed.

This is just one more reason you so almost no spam in the forums. If we allowed yours then others would use that as reason theirs could stay.

It helps to keep the spam down to ... zero. If we allowed a post like yours we'd have to allow anyone that would ask "Hey, can you check out my site to see what's wrong?"

Hope this helps you understand it.

You're looking for something like a blog. That's what YouTube is, except for with videos. In blogs people can leave comments.

Hope this helps.

Purple Yin Guestbook

is a good, free guestbook and has turing protection option to prevent spam by bots. I've used it, it works well. (I think you can also get emailed when there are new posts.)

Your web hosting service (isp) needs to have PHP enabled (most likely for any guestbook or equivalent). You'd need to look through their FAQs or contact them to find that out.
