the cd standard has a 2 second lead-in (pause) before all tracks. the 2 secs on the first track is mandatory, but your burning software should let you remove the lead-in for the remaining tracks. for example, in nero, you can click "no pause between tracks" on the compilation properties, or right click each track and adjust the pause as desired.
I have downloaded a CD which contains some tracks that are a continuous mix (ie. flowing into each other). When I burn this to CD I get a 2 second gap between the tracks and not the continuous mix. How can I get rid of this but also retain the individual track structure? (ie. track 1, track 2 etc.)
