Create HD-DVD on my computer from my Canon Vixia HF100?

I have the Canon Vixia HF100 camcorder. Is it possible to create an HD-DVD (AVCHD) on my computer with my DVD RW drive? Or do I need to purchase a special DVD Burner like the Canon DW-100? I created a DVD earlier, but my Bose system says "unsupported format". Thanks!

You need to install a blue ray writer in your pc in order to be able to burn high def DVDs and you'll also need to buy a blank blue ray DVD, and you'll also need a blue ray player to play the finished disc on.
