Create hard disk Partiotion in Dell XPS Studio 16

Oct 27, 2009 3:01PM PDT

Hi,

I've bought Dell XPS Studio 16 laptop, I want to create its hard disk partitions. Like currently my hard drive space is 500 GB and by factory default 14 GB is given to recovery disk and rest of it is where the OS is installed. The partitions I would to like to create is of 3 partitions for 50 GB space, where 1 partition for Win Vista, 2'nd for Program Files and 3'rd for Linux and rest for the Data (I would like better keep the recovery disk as well).

Is it possible or is there any tool that can create hard disk partition in Win vista home premium edition(like create partition of C drive where OS is installed without harming the OS/without OS re-installation), if possible kindly tell me the steps for doing it? Or Is it only the way to reinstall the OS from the begining(if this only method available kindly do tell me how can i create recovery disk on my hard drive)?

Kindly advise me which method is prefer for it and also please do tell the steps if there are other method as I explained above.
