I just got this reply from ASUS support regarding why I can't stream audio/video to my bluetooth speakers -- trying to decide if I even want to wait for possible solution, or just try to get my money back. Any thoughts ?

Hello:
The BT and WIFI is controlled by a single chip therefore, both are utilizing the same antenna for connections. While streaming, WIFI or BT speed or bandwidth connection will be affected and may cause connection to drop depending which device has the priority on the network. A possible software patch, driver or firmware update may resolve the issue and will improve connectivity, there is no guarantee that this may happen. Our Software Team is looking into this and a hot fix may be available soon. Meanwhile, we recommend not using both WIFI and BT simultaneously to avoid connection drop.
Thank You,
ASUS Product Support
There is a somewhat widely reported issue with the Transformer Prime (I have a TF201) where if you use Bluetooth speakers, over a few minutes time, it starts to slow down the WIFI and eventually completely disables WIFI.
(So this means you can't use speakers to listen to google music, or a streaming movie, or....)
I got an official support response from ASUS yesterday in which they say they do not support using Bluetooth and WIFI at the same time, because they interfere with each other. I can forward it if you want to see it.
This response is CRAZY, it seems to me, as what's the point of having a "high-end" tablet (especially one with a single small speaker) that was made for entertainment purposes if you can't use it that way.
I'm trying to figure out where to turn to get publicity on this crazy statement, and hopefully get them to realize the errors of their ways.
