Hi their I have a alien ware 17 and recently i had a HDD failure so I sent it back to dell to get it replaced, when i received my laptop back I noticed it was a lot slower and running to its full potential, so I decided to plug in an external hard drive and when doing so my laptop crash dumps, I have tried everything to fix this but no use please help.

I went back to frys electronics and told them if they could send it back to dell since I was having these certain problems and the guy just told me go home and do the updates it needs but my laptop does not update even when I download the updates, is their a way I can directly send it to dell?
