Are you using Internet Explorer?

And what email software are you using?

Normally, clicking on an email link in a web page should open the 'Default' email software to send the email. Check that you have set your default email software correctly either by;

1] In Internet Explorer goto Tools > Internet Options, or

2] Goto Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Internet Options

Then in Internet options click the Programs tab, and make sure your email software is selected in the section for Email.

This assumes you are using Windows XP or lower. You didn't say.

Simply open the Control Panel, then the "Internet Options" icon, then click on the "Programs" tab.. In the "Email" line, use the drop down arrow to select Outlook/Outlook Express/Windows Live Mail, etc.. I'm not sure whether Yahoo Mail can be set up in this manner but the other items can..

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
