moniquey22,
Without knowing where and what the sound is like, it's difficult to determine exactly what the problem might be. However, I wouldn't try turning it on until you're able to get a technician to look at it. Good news about the warranty - I would definitely recommend having a technician look at the unit.

I have a 67" model no. HL67A510J1FXZA dlp which i bought last year. I moved and havent had cable so i haven't watched it much at all. i still dont have cable.... i watched a movie the other night and turned it off right after. tonight when i got home i turned it on and there was a crackling noise and then the tv turned off, tried to restart again, and crackled then turned off again.. it will not come on and when i looked for the source of the crackle, i saw a faint green light blinking in the back of the tv... this is very stressful... i have never made a big purchase like this and i thank god have a warranty for two years... does anyone know what may be the problem?
