Question

cpu usage history

Dec 6, 2012 10:35AM PST

With the task manager>performance under cpu usage history i just noticed that when i start a new tab it goes all the way up for a short time from a very low starting point then it goes way back down again. If i bring on a website on the new tab it also goes way up but stays there a little longer till the page fully loads then comes back down.Is this behavior normal or is something wrong?

Answer
Nothing wrong about that

It takes work to create a new task in Windows. That busies up the processor between the time you tell it to do that and the time the new window pops up. That's perfectly normal.
