Resolved Question

CPU usage constantly going up and down

Aug 28, 2018 11:57AM PDT

Cpu usage is going up and down constantely from like 5 hours ago so my PC laggs a lot. I did a scan with MalwareBytes and 390 malwares were found but it didn't fix the problem. I also did a scan with my antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials) and no result.

Help me please because I never had this problem before and the programs I use aren't the problem because I also used the same programs yesterday and before.

Look at the IP connections at the end.

That's an incredibly busy IP connections list.

There's a lot of apps I would never install as well. Nothing looks wrong with all that you have going on.

Use Task Manager to see if any app keeps at the top of the CPU use list.

Thank you very much, I changed the IP directly after my post (I was using a VPN) and until now there is no problem so I think that the IP was the problem. I just have one question out of the topic, which Antivirus would you advise me to use?

What you have looks fine.

At office and home we moved to W10 on everything and use Windows Defender since it works and we don't take any chances on shady web pages or Torrent/crack apps.

-> As to the problem, I didn't see any problem since the machine was working pretty hard in the IP connections area. VPN does add overhead so I only use my VPN on travel.

Thank you and have a nice day. So since I'm on windows 7 I need to use Microsoft Security Essentials.
