Resolved Question

CPU install - please reply asap

Jun 6, 2014 1:48AM PDT

Installing AMD A6 5400K CPU.
The stock fan that came with it has thermal paste on the bottom already.
If I'm not planning to OC, will this be fine, or do I need to find my Arctic Alumina Premium Ceramic Polysynthetic thermal comp...which could be anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

All he does is surf the net, and the most heavy cpu taxing program is MS Excel with tons of graphs. He's a project manager. He'd watch netflix at best. This isn't a power house. Still 3.4GHz base clock seems a bit high and that's why I'm asking advise from among the best.

Were for heavy use. Should be fine. Remember I'm not duplicating prior answers about what happens if you put on the HSF, remove it and such. Just that it is ready to use plus a fresh article where they went stock.
