Question

CPU fan

Jan 6, 2017 1:47PM PST

Hi everyone,

My invalid mother depends on her computer for VOIP phone use and her sole source of entertainment.

Recently the fan on her HP Pavilion 500-C60's motherboard started making strange noises. I tried to look up just the fan but am not finding any that match up with size or wires. So where do I go to find a motherboard fan?

The following link shows the motherboard specs:

Thanks in advance for your help!

Take the fan off and take it to your local pc repair shop.
They may have something you can use sitting on the shelf.

If that's not an option look at the fan label for a make and model number.
