If it is asking then enter the code for the region. Since, I suspect the DVDs you're trying to play originated outside of the USA region which is typically -1-. Thus enter "your code that the DVD was originated at". Hungary is region -2-.

The above if possible to replace your auto DVD player, do so. There are by-pass code but this is NOT!!! always possible and may ruin the player. Further, it may not apply to "car DVD player" again this more specialized application if at all possible to do. Google for info on your van and etc. and hope for the best. You may want to re-install the DVD player to see if entering region 2 fixes this. It may also when playing USA originated DVDs ask again, enter region 1. Beware on some players you can only change it X-number of times -OR- store the regions entered and ask only once.

You gave no clue to location of this Chrysler van, that makes a difference, just change if the default isn't the USA code. The links I provided should clear this all up for you.

Hello,
We have purcsesed a ussed Chrysler Voyager with a DVD player. It would not play Hungarian dvd's. It asks for the country code. Today I uninstalled the DVD player from the car. Its model number: 05080687AA.(2 PAL is written on the device itself). Does anyone know how to fix it (what code to enter) to make it work? My three kids were very disappointed when we found out that it did not work. THANKS for your help.
