Couldn't create Internet@TV ID

by berryblast013 / June 3, 2011 2:11 AM PDT

I have tried so many many times to create the Internet@TV ID on my TV LED TV Series 8. I have clicked create and gone through the whole process until the pop up showed as completed. Then, the problem is occurred when I returned to the main page and click "A" to log in. They showed as No user account available. I have also gone back to check in the setting area and found no account that I have previously created.

I don't know what I did wrong. I have already checked that I completely created the user by clicking on manage account and found one that I have created.

Which point that I missed it???

Thank in advance.

My TV is model UA46C8000 (LED Series 8).

My problem now is that I couldn't find the set up as you suggested. I found Plug & Play; however, no HOME mode found. Please guide me to where it should be changed.

Same issue with Series 6 - LA40C650L1R
by Masdg / July 28, 2011 9:08 PM PDT

Samsung_HD_Tech ,

Exactly the same problem I have with the Series 6 - LA40C650L1R model. Couldn't create Internet@TV ID.

- The Internet@TV ID is created sussessfully. (Message: "Creating account completed" prompt up) and I can get back to manage the ID. After returning out to the main page ,it's totally disappeared.
- I also upgraded the latest firmware (as of July 4,2011).
- I make sure that Plug and Play setup is set to Home Mode.
- My internet speed is 10/1 Mbps. I can use other apps like Google Map ,YouTube properly through my Internet (Wired connection) No issue with Network test and speed test on TV.

Local Samsung engineer took some days came to replace the mainboard but problem still exist then took another some days calling back that the problem is my Internet Router but cannot explain technically what the problem is.

I do not believe. I do not see in the manual that we have to connect internet to the TV before creating the Internet@TV ID. It should be registered on TV itself.

Any find out or resolution on this issue? Please kindly advice.
Thank you in advance.

Same issue - Internet@TV account not saving settings
by frattard / July 28, 2011 10:42 PM PDT

There is evidently some sort of issue here that needs to be acknowledged
and addressed. I have documented by problem in the following youtube
video (apologies that I have not yet mastered the art of touch-typing on
my tv-remote Happy

I cannot get the Internet@TV account working properly with my Samsung
UE37C6500 TV. Every time I create an Internet@TV account, and configure
sub-accounts for Facbeook, Youtube, Twitter etc... these settings are
not stored. As soon as I exit the Internet Settings screen and try to
access one of these applications, I get the error message that I nee to
create an account first. Same happens when I try to login by pressing
the red "A" button on the remote.

Internet applications that do
not require an 'account' work well. Built-in Network Diagnostics also
show that all network parameters are working fine. I have already
upgraded the firmware to the latest version and tried re-setting the TV
by holding the "Exit" button on the remote for 15 seconds. I also made
sure that the TV is configured for "Home use" and NOT in "Store demo"

TV details:
Model: UE37C6500
Software version: T-VALDEUC-3009-2
Internet@TV version: 2.340 -
