Could Be Drivers

It could be a # of solutions, One that comes to mind is drivers.
I had a problem with my WD 74 raptor 10,000 rpm drive, until I got the correct drivers in it did not work.
Once the correct drivers were in I had know problems with my raptor drive.
Sometimes Windows drivers do not work for some hardware on certain systems.
