See what font and keyboard is selected.

This sounds like the font is mapped or keyboard is not for your selected language. Not a real bug but annoyance to non-English PC owners. You should have seen this issue in other softwares by now.

And is this a UK version of Corel?

In reply to: Hi Bob;

I bet it's the usual issue of font sets and keyboard mappings. In the graphic fonts I see this all the time so try this.

Run CHARMAP and copy/paste the character you want to work around the issue till you discover more about the font and keyboard mapping from Corel's applications.

I wish I had a non-workaround but by doing this I think you'll understand what's going on underneath.

Best of continued luck,

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
