Core i7 Laptop comments.

A friend has a nice Toshiba 18 inch laptop with the Core i7 CPU (nice!) and 1GB video solution. When gaming, it's blowing a lot of hot air.


Yesterday a 17 inch HP dv7t arrived with the usual Core i7 CPU (nice!) and 1GB Nvidia 230M video solution. My wife installed The Sims and it's very nice but it's blowing a lot of hot air.

Again this is expected.

These are not laptops in my opinion. But quite amazing machines that we better not get too attached to. That heat has always meant shorter life spans.
