and great battery life are opposites. Think about it the more it drains the power from the battery. The things that make a laptop a better gaming machine are the same that give it a short battery life. It gaming is more important then make sure those games run on the machine you want and don't travel far from an electrical outlet.
Im looking at laptops and i want something powerful for light to medium gaming but i also want the computer to have ok battery life so i was looking at the mac book pro 17 inch and that has a core 2 duo running at 3.06 ghz. but i also looked at a alien-ware area51 laptop whitch has a core 2 extreme running at 2.5 ghz. Witch one is better? Does the core 2 duo in the mac book have somthing less than the core 2 extreme even at a slower clock speed? this seems wierd to me because these high clock speed processors need to keep cooler right?
As of right now i dont know what to.
