Resolved Question

Copying music to CDRR

Mar 19, 2012 11:10AM PDT

I know this is a rally stupid question. I findally got a CDR installed today. I tried copying a CD to a new CDR disk and it appeared that it copied but it won't play on Windows media player. I can copy setup files from the internet, but would like to be able to copy music. I cannot find the instructions that Windows gives me when trying to copy music files.

Assuming the audio CD is OK

Windows, by itself does not do it. Open Media Player. There is an option to rip the audio and then a custom compile is possible. If that is not your cup of tea, give CDBurnerXP a try. It has better or at least guided options for doing many things concerning CD\DVD's. http://download.cnet.com/CDBurnerXP/3000-2646_4-10409086.html

There are a bunch of variables. Firstly the operating system, then from where you are attempting to copy, rip and or burn the files. It would help to know what your operating system is and from where you are trying to get the music.
