General discussion

copying a cd with nero

Mar 7, 2006 10:11AM PST

i'm having a problem copying an audio cd with nero6.

i've tried "copy entire cd". i've tried converting the cd original to wav files and mp3 files first and then creating an audio cd from them.

nero shows that the copy is being burned and finished. but when i try to play, there is nothing.

at the beginning of the process it is noted "copyrighted", but then wouldn't nero not start the process if it couldn't?

I use CDEX and CDBURNERXP to make my own compilation audioCDs for the car. These titles are free and I didn't read any instructions on how to use them.

Let's say I use CDEX and it does it's thing. Now I use CDBURNERXP to put those songs on a CDR.

I have the same titles on both CDs and if I want, in the same order.

Is that dupe close enough for you?

Nero and Anti Virus

I had similar problems with Nero. The solution was to turn off every other background program, ESPECIALLY your anti virus, before burning your CD.

Copying a cd with nero(solution)
Mar 13, 2006 1:22AM PST

Hi
I am Ravi.
I saw your paosting of a problem with nero.
I think i have a solution for it.
Some of the nero pakages have image drive installed.
Image drive is just like virtualCD,Clone cd,Clonedvd etc..
If it is there in your version then this can be the solution.
While writing nero willask you about source drive and destination drive.
If there is image drive in your version you can set it to either image drive or your writer.
Set these two to Your writer if they are set to imagedrive.
Now try to write.
It might be successful.
You can set destination to image drive if you want to make an image of it into your computer.
This image can be used as a virtual cd or for writing it on another cd.
