There are programs like DVDShrink that has many features that you might want to check into in addition to video capture programs like I used for my VHS tapes such as PowerVCR Deluxe II.

There is a capture card by Pinnacle that I use that comes with software, too. The whole shebang is called Pinnacle AV-DV and there is another one called Dazzle that captures video that I also have and also comes with Pinnacle software.

Do you just want to copy only or do you want edit them first then burn to DVD??
If you want to just copy them to DVD get a stand alone DVD recorder.
If want to capture them to a PC and edit them go the mulit media fourm. John
