<span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> <span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> I want to copy my Gmail contacts to Mail so I can email some photos from iPhoto. There has to be a way to export those contacts--names, email addresses--without doing it one by one. Help would be appreciated.

Insertion marker

Bob, I've run into that problem too. Just copied an URL and pasted it into the message text. Nothing happened. Did it several times. Nothing again. Had to manually input the address. And the final version contained all those ugly inserts. Guess, this is a glitch in the CNET interface. Adding an Edit capability would be also appreciated.

I've had some problems using that approach
Apr 18, 2011 11:40AM PDT

This evening I tried for the first time to import from gmail into the Mac address book. As Bob noted there is an option at gmail to export all or just a subset of the contacts. I clicked to export to vCard. The Mac contact list opened automagically and imported the contacts. Unfortunately, it scrambled a number of them in the process. IOW, it isn't always as simple as just following the instructions.
