Copy from Mac External hard drive to PC???

Hi all.

I have a Lacie drive full of 500GB of data that I need to copy to a PC... the Lacie is formatted as Mac File system.

What's the best way to get this over to my PC?

But I use an UBUNTU boot CD when I need to do this. No linux knowledge or install required. Just boot, open up the drives with an explorer like interface and copy the files over.

you could download a free app called HFSExplorer which enables Windows to read a Mac formatted disk
